#How to Read This Tutorial

Each chapter has two parts: Scent(fiction) and Law(session transcript).

• Scent: A story in which three people — Kuro(GM), Hana(PC hopeful), and Mei(PC hopeful) — learn Konsei Reiyotan. Read it like fiction.
• Law: A conversation log where the same three people actually play the same scene. Rules and numbers appear here.

Reading only Scent tells you the game's mood, and reading only Law teaches you the rules. Read both, and you will understand it fully.

#Cast

• Kuro (黒) — GM. A veteran TRPG novelist. Analytical, good with metaphors. Gets straight to the point.
• Hana (花) — PC hopeful. History otaku. A Touken Ranbu doujin fan. Completely new to TRPGs. Switches to casual speech when excited.
• Mei (メイ) — PC hopeful. CoC(Call of Cthulhu) veteran. Compares everything to CoC. A calm analyst.

#Session 0 — Learning the Game

1. What Is a Tabletop Roleplaying Game? — Three people meet at a cafe. Kuro explains TRPGs.
2. What Is Konsei Reiyotan? — The world of this game. A Sengoku age of blades and yoma.
3. Dice and Checks — Hana rolls dice for the first time.
4. Making Your Hero — Hana makes the samurai Setsuna, and Mei makes the onmyoji Mina.
5. Building Your Warband — Setsuna's ashigaru and Mina's shikigami.

#First Session — Standing on the Battlefield

1. First Combat — They meet ko-oni on a foggy mountain road.
2. Factions and the World — They find their place inside the faction called Kagura Domain.
3. Example of Play — Three battles. From basics to advanced rules, they experience the whole system.
