The Sengoku world is made of people. Conflicts between factions ultimately come from relationships between people. Who trusts whom, who hates whom, and who is whose student — this network of relationships is the true battlefield of the Sengoku.

Seal Release Conditions (GM discretion) — The seal weakens when at least two of the following three axes are satisfied. The GM adjusts concrete values to the campaign's density:

1. Spiritual Pressure: number of Sengoku fissures ≥ 4 (currently 3), or rituals by a great fiend/great yoma succeed 3 or more times at Hannya Altar.

2. Neglect of Human Action: the Kagura Domain vs Ikko-ikki war continues for 10 years or more, or the Three Ways and Six Hearts average accumulates 7 alignments or more toward Demon.

3. Loss of Sealing Relics: at least 2 of the 3 exorcism implements used to seal Enma-doji are destroyed, lost, or tainted. The implements themselves first appear in the Tomb of the Archfiend scenario.

If all three axes are satisfied, the seal is automatically and fully released. Even if only one axis is satisfied, the GM can insert omen events that show "the seal is shaking" into the campaign, such as dreams or unstable spirit-veins.
