#Critical Moment Table (天命表)
Double 10 (total 20) + success = Heavenly Mandate. Roll d100 on this table to determine the miracle.
#When To Use
When a double 10 (both dice 10) occurs and the check succeeds, immediately roll d100. Apply the result below in addition to the base Critical Hit (2 Wounds).
#Heavenly Mandate Table (d100)
#01~10: Heavenly Strike (天上の一撃)
The blade-tip flashes. It completely pierces the enemy's defenses, dealing additional 2 Wounds (total 4 Wounds). Enemy Elites or lower may die instantly.
#11~20: Armor Shatter (甲冑破碎)
The enemy's armor breaks to pieces. The target's Defense is permanently -4 (until the battle ends). If Defense is already 10 or lower, the next hit deals additional 1 Wound.
#21~30: Front Zone Collapse (前列崩壞)
The force of the strike shakes the enemy formation. Enemy Domination in the target's zone is immediately -5. 2 additional enemy Minions in that zone are killed or wounded.
#31~40: Disarm (武裝解除)
Knock away the enemy's weapon. The target cannot use weapons during the next round (picking it up requires 2 Energy). If the target has no weapon, its next attack costs +2 Energy.
#41~50: Fighting Spirit Eruption (氣魄爆發)
Allies who witness the strike are filled with sky-piercing morale. All allied squads, including those in adjacent zones, gain Cohesion +2. Allied Lords/Elites immediately add 3 points to their current Energy.
#51~60: Fear Brand (恐怖刻印)
The enemy is seized by terror. The target becomes Defenseless + all enemy Minions/Veterans in the same zone as the target take Cohesion -2. Mobs automatically flee.
#61~70: Continuous Slash (連續斬擊)
The blade does not stop. Attack 1 additional enemy in the same zone (automatic hit, 1 Wound). If there is no additional target, the original target takes +1 Wound.
#71~80: Vital Pierce (急所貫通)
The strike pierces a vital point exactly. The target loses 1 additional Wound at each lull for the next 3 rounds (bleeding). A Medicine check (>=13) can remove this.
#81~90: Hero's Roar (英雄の咆哮)
A roar that shakes heaven and earth. Enemy squads across the entire battlefield take Cohesion -1. Enemy Elites/Lords take a +1 Energy penalty on their next action.
#91~99: Divine Protection (神の加護)
A god looks down. The attacker immediately recovers 2 Wounds + all remaining actions in this round automatically succeed (not Critical Hits).
#00(100): Cleaving Stroke (一刀兩斷)
A strike out of legend. If the target is an Elite or lower, it dies instantly regardless of Wounds. If it is a Lord, remove all remaining Wounds (incapacitated). All enemy squads on the battlefield take Cohesion -3. All allies add 5 points to their current Energy on their next own action.
When Heavenly Mandate descends, the battlefield holds its breath.
