#35-08-01. Divine Art of the Heaven-Earth Sealing Knot (天地封結)

- Range/Target: 1 city/region
Casting: a 1-session ritual. Cannot be cast in combat.
Effect: a permanent Barrier (Barrier HP 100, yoma -5 — 1st-expansion Domain Barrier grade, preserved in this §11). Permanently seal all Incorporeal and yoma in the city/region. After the 1-session ritual, the PC needs exhaustion on the next round + 1 week of rest (the ritual's price).
Failure: does not manifest. The PC takes exhaustion on the next round + 1 session of madness (the casting's price).
#35-08-02. Divine Art of the Hundred-Demon Shikigami (百鬼式神)
- Type: [upkeep → aptitude] (ritual type)
- Energy: 8 (ritual) / Target Number: 18
- Range/Target: a designated area
Casting: a 1-session ritual. Cannot be cast in combat.
Effect: summon a shikigami squad (5 minion-grade) for 1 week. Can be operated as a squad unit.
Failure: does not manifest. The PC takes exhaustion on the next round, the casting's price.
#35-08-03. Divine Art of the Time-Reversing Return (歸還逆時)
- Type: [Kata] (ritual type)
- Energy: 8 (ritual) / Target Number: 18
- Range/Target: self + 1 zone
Casting: a 1-session ritual. Cannot be cast in combat.
Effect: rewind 1 event (e.g., a PC's death/decision) by 1 hour. The PC can decide again. Limited to 1 time per 1 campaign.
Failure: does not manifest. The PC takes exhaustion on the next round + risk of permanent madness for 1 session (the casting's price).
#35-08-04. Divine Art of the Netherworld Gate Opening (幽界開門)
- Type: [upkeep]
- Casting: a 1-session ritual. Cannot be cast in combat.
- Energy: 8 / Target Number: 18
- Range/Target: 1 designated zone
Effect: create a permanent gate connecting to the Spirit Realm or another world. The PC party opens a Spirit Realm expedition route through that gate — entry into the 1st-expansion [Spirit Realm region] becomes possible. The gate is closed manually by the caster, or maintained for 1 campaign.
Side effect: right after creation, the appearance rate of Incorporeal in that zone rises (a scenario hook may arise). GM discretion.
Failure: the gate is not created. The PC takes exhaustion on the next round + 1 session of madness (the ritual's price).
School perk: with 19-01-05 Tibetan Esotericism (mandala ritual), Target Number -2.
GM approval required: this spell affects the campaign's progression structure. The GM's prior approval is required.
#§ Recommended Use
- Divine Art of the Heaven-Earth Sealing Knot (35-08-01): campaign climax. A great sealing event.
- Divine Art of the Hundred-Demon Shikigami (35-08-02): right before a great battle. Squad reinforcement.
- Divine Art of the Time-Reversing Return (35-08-03): when regretting a PC's death or a key decision. Limited to 1 time per 1 campaign — use with care.
- Divine Art of the Netherworld Gate Opening (35-08-04): opening a Spirit Realm expedition route. The GM's prior approval is required.
