  • Unique Tactic [Oirat Single Raid]: [Kata] Energy 3. Surprise Attack only. The whole squad attacks the same target simultaneously (each check +2). 1 combat.

  • plunder-ideology alignment ("Raider of the Frontier" renown)
  • Cost: core Minion-grade × 2×
  • Loyalty: the distribution of plunder. Departure when distribution is unfair.

#25-06-03. Cossack Kazak (Cossack Kazak) — Ukrainian/Russian free cavalry

Grade: Minion-grade / Wounds 1 / Defense 10 / Equipment: curved sword/short gun/lasso/mounted

  • Unique Aptitude [Free Cavalry]: on any terrain, exempt from mounted penalties.
  • Unique Tactic [Kazak Phantom Raid]: [Kata] Energy 4. Mounted only. Curved sword/short gun simultaneously, 1 time each (each +2). 1 combat.

Hire:

  • nomad/Russian origin or foreign Adaptation
  • free-thought ideology (collaboration with regular armies is difficult)
  • Cost: core Minion-grade × 2×
  • Loyalty: the ideology of self-rule. Does not obey regular-army orders (only equal cooperation with PCs).

#25-06-04. Saracen Sipahi (Saracen Sipahi) — the guard cavalry of the Ottoman Sultan

Grade: Veteran-grade / Wounds 3 / Defense 12 / Equipment: scimitar/composite bow/light armor/mounted

  • Unique Aptitude [Desert Adaptation]: on desert/tropical terrain, all checks +1.
  • Unique Tactic [Sipahi Wheel]: [Tactic:stance] Energy 4. Squad scope. Mounted flanking relocation + side raid. Enemy squad attack +3 · unhorsing check. 1 combat.
