Morale notation convention: in this file, "squad Cohesion ±N" / "Cohesion ±N" / "morale ±N" all follow the 00-05 §12 mapping — core alone = squad Cohesion, 1st-expansion campaign = domain morale, using the 30-03 variant = this expansion's morale. The body uses the unified notation "squad Cohesion."

#25-07-01. Shinsentai (新撰隊) — a Bakumatsu guard variant
Grade: Minion-grade / Wounds 1 / Defense 11 / Equipment: katana

Cost: core Minion-grade × 2×. Loyalty: loyalty to the shogunate.
Original: a Shinsengumi variant (slightly different from 25-02-02 — the same motif).
#25-07-02. Black Society (黑社會) — a fictional political secret society
Grade: Minion-grade / Wounds 1 / Defense 10 / Equipment: dagger/concealed weapons
- Unique Aptitude [Web of Shadows]: on information-gathering/assassination, +2.
- Unique Tactic [Black-Society Single Raid]: [Kata] Energy 4. Political assassination of 1 target (1 session). 1 campaign 1 time.
Hire: apprenticed to a secret society. "Friend in the Shadows" renown.
Cost: core Minion-grade × 3× (secret). Loyalty: keeping the society's secret.
Original: a variant of the Chinese/Hong Kong Black Society and triads.
#25-07-03. Four Great Powers of Wulin — a fictional wulin
Grade: Elite-grade / Wounds 4 / Defense 12 / Equipment: varied (sword/spear/Unarmed Combat)
- Unique Aptitude [Four-Great Integration]: the 4-member squad integrates 4 weapons (sword/spear/body/bow). Distance-independent -0.
- Unique Tactic [Four-Great Combined Attack]: [Tactic:stance] Energy 5. 4 members attack simultaneously (each +2). 1 combat.
Hire: wulin campaign only. "Four Great of Wulin" renown.
Cost: core Elite-grade × 3×. Loyalty: wulin ideology (chivalry · justice).
Original: a fiction in the style of Jin Yong's wuxia.
#25-07-04. Eastern Hero Band (東方 英雄團) — a fictional hero society
Grade: Veteran-grade / Wounds 3 / Defense 12 / Equipment: varied
- Unique Aptitude [Will of Heroes]: when accompanying a PC, that PC's action Energy -1.
- Unique Tactic [Hero Unity]: [Tactic:stance] Energy 4. The squad + the PC, for 1 combat, attack +3. 1 combat.
Hire: PC main-class dan 9 or higher, or a regional-grade heroic merit + "Hero" ideology alignment.
Cost: core Veteran-grade × 2.5×. Loyalty: hero ideology. The PC sustains heroic conduct.
Original: in the style of Eastern comics/shonen-manga heroes.
#25-07-05. Shadow Order (Shadow Order) — a fictional political secret society
Grade: Minion-grade / Wounds 1 / Defense 11 / Equipment: varied
- Unique Aptitude [Identity Disguise]: identity-disguise check +3.
- Unique Tactic [Political Conspiracy]: [Kata] Energy 5. 1 session. Bring 1 political conspiracy to fruition (a GM-discretion branch).
Hire: apprenticed to a political society. "Shadow" renown.
Cost: core Minion-grade × 3×. Loyalty: maintaining the society's identity.
Original: a variant of Western secret societies (Illuminati, Freemasons, etc.).
#25-07-06. 8 Houses of Wulin (Eight Houses of Wulin) — fictional wulin houses
Grade: Veteran-grade / Wounds 3 / Defense 12 / Equipment: varied by house
- Unique Aptitude [Honor of the House]: squad Cohesion +2 · Diplomacy/Negotiation +1.
- Unique Tactic [House Combined Attack]: [Tactic:stance] Energy 4. The squad + a friendly house's squad pincer. 1 target's evasion -4. 1 combat.
Hire: ties of 3 stages with a house + "Child of the House" renown.
Cost: core Veteran-grade × 3×. Loyalty: the honor of the house. Immediate disband upon honor violation.
