#§ This Expansion's Own Mechanics Terms (00-05)
Dispersed Casting (分散施展) — handling an action that cannot be finished in one breath, such as a massive ritual·Tatsujin secret art·high-rank spell, by dividing it into preparation + activation across two rounds. Effective cost = N + M (e.g., 5+5=10). Unrelated to the one-breath limit (since it is dispersed). This §1.
Exhaustion (脫盡) — triggers when using Dispersed Casting below the person's maximum Energy / on Overload failure / on an explicit effect. The next round's Energy = 1 (recovery nullified) + Defenseless 1 round + stance·reservation vanish. Automatically removed after 1 round. This §2.
Qi-Exhaustion (氣盡) — a new state lighter than exhaustion. One-breath limit -1 (5→4) maintained for 1 combat or the specified rounds. The side effect of forcing Medicine·Herbalism·the after-effect of a secret art. This §9.
Wounds Recovery (戰力回復) — an effect that recovers Wounds through external·internal wound treatment. This §3 Category A.
Energy Aid (活力補助) — temporary enhancement of the action resource. 3 kinds:

- B-1: temporary +1 to one breath (1 round only)
- B-2: 0-count extra Energy (the last beat after reaching Energy 0)
- B-3: nullification of an Energy-reduction effect (block 1 time)
[Technique] Maneuver Type — defined by the core 03-07. A maneuver tied to weapons·armor·consumables. The katana's horizontal slash·smoke-bomb use, etc. Not newly created by this expansion (a re-citation of the core definition + usage guide §6).
[Non-Combat Action] Maneuver Type — newly created in this expansion §13. Quantifies session·day·week-unit results. Applies the core's non-combat-check rule. The Energy cost abstracts advance preparation·stamina expenditure. Converts 11 of 16-mobility (mounted advance·navigation·infiltration·disguise).
Barrier Wounds (結界戰力) — this expansion's Barriers are unified on the core [03-05 Wounds] unit. On a hit -1 / on a Critical Hit -2 / Wounds 0 = Barrier collapse. The 1st-expansion Domain Barrier HP 100 is preserved separately. This §11.
Critical Expansion (会心擴張) — this expansion 2 only. An adjacent pip (two dice differing by 1) is also recognized as a Critical Hit (e.g., 5-6, 6-5). Double 10% + adjacent pip 18% = automatic 28%. 1-step only (recognizing the 2-step ±2 is forbidden). This §15.
Fumble Prevention (失着防止) — this expansion 2 only. An ordinary double failure (Fumble) → downgraded to an ordinary failure, Karmic Retribution (a 1-1 double failure) → Fumble (Defenseless). Fumble risk 1/100. This §15.
Maneuver Types Other Than Technique — the core's 5 types ([Kata] / [Stance] / [upkeep] / [aptitude] / [Tactic:Stance]) + the core [Technique] + this expansion's [Non-Combat Action] = 7 types total. This §13.

The many "squad morale ±N" notations in 18·20·19·25 = when used in the core alone, reinterpreted as squad Cohesion ±N; under the 1st/30-03 variants, automatically compatible.
