#Minion

A basic battlefield troop with Defense, but killed outright when hit. Minions are operated in squads rather than as individual combatants.

#Scent — Ashigaru and Lesser Yoma

Ashigaru standing in the Front Zone with their spears set, or swarms of lesser yoma pouring out of a Hell Gate. Individually, they fall to a single blow; gathered into a squad, they become a wall that holds the Front Zone. At one word from their commander they thrust their spears in unison, and without orders they do not move an inch.

  • Hit = instant death: If an attack check equals or exceeds Defense, remove 1 Minion immediately.
  • Critical Hit effect: On a double + success, remove 2 Minions.
  • Squad operations: Minions are always used as a squad. Do not track them individually; manage only headcount.
  • When squad headcount reaches 0: The squad is destroyed, and that zone's Domination decreases.
