#Identity

The core assumes a 4~5-person party. This module is an adjustment for non-standard-size campaigns such as solo · duo · 6~8.

#§ Variant A: Solo (1 PC)

Adjustment:

  • The PC's maximum Energy increases by 2 points (compensation for the solo burden — a permanent 2-point increase from the core maximum Energy = 10+Finesse).
  • All enemy squads have -1 personnel (preventing the solo PC from being overwhelmed).
  • 1 accompanying NPC joins automatically (Minion-grade NPC, run by the GM).
  • Renown +1 (the lone hero).

Effect:

  • A 1 vs 1 campaign is possible. A strong heroic tone.
  • Suited to GM-PC 1 vs 1 or PBEM.

#§ Variant B: Duo (2 PC)

Adjustment:

  • Squad-unit effects ×1.5 (reinforcing the small personnel).
  • Enemy squads have -1 personnel.
  • Emphasize the friendship · rivalry narrative of the two PCs.

Effect:

  • A strong bond · narrative between the two PCs.
  • A Japanese-manga "two swordmasters" tone.

#§ Variant C: Large-Scale (6~8 PC)

Adjustment:

  • Enemy squads have +1~2 personnel.
  • 1 session's time ×1.5 (many PC actions).
  • Emphasize the use of the interlude + accompanying NPCs.
  • Prioritize squad-unit combat.

Effect:

  • A large-scale campaign. Emphasis on squad combat.
  • A "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" or "Sengoku warrior band" tone.
