#§ Comparison of PC Burden by Variation
| Time | PC Burden | Suitable PC |
|---|---|---|
| 1-hour one-shot | low | convention · one-off |
| 2-hour casual | low | casual · weekday |
| 3~4-hour standard | medium | regular campaign |
| 8-hour marathon | high | weekend immersion · retreat |
#§ Anti-Patterns
- Marathon content in a standard session time: insufficient time.
- Standard content in a marathon time: boredom.
- Too-frequent time variation: the PCs find it hard to predict.
"One hour is one scene; eight hours is one era. A campaign's weight is measured by the length of its time."
