co-04-05Renown states that Renown Title is "a campaign-ending device and not an ability for ongoing play," and that its effects are "designed to nullify the core system." This issue, having acknowledged that the warning is right, cuts a road for tables that still want to go further.Therefore every rule in this issue is a Variant of
co-99-01, not a mere optional rule but an "Epic Mode" switch that is flipped on only when the whole campaign agrees and the GM approves. Balance is not guaranteed. This issue is not material that blocks you from "getting too strong," but material that releases "so that growth does not stop."
#Brief — What This Issue Is
When you reach Tatsujin (達人) at the end of 10 advancements, the canon's road ends there. You gain a Renown Title (威名), and the campaign comes to a close. That is the correct design — Renown Title nullifies the check, incapacitation, and the Energy economy wholesale.
But some tables do not want to stop there. They do not want to send off a character they have rolled together for ten years with one or two climaxes. They want to go further. This issue is for that table.
The method is not to add flashy new powers. It is to release, one by one, the ceilings the canon drove into growth — the +3 attribute cap, the auto-success ceiling on skills, the count limit on Licensed-or-above, the Master and Saint limits — so that the scaling that was already there keeps growing step by step. The price for that is that the very first thing you must rework is Renown Title.
There are three branches.
- Beyond 10th Dan — a methodology for drastically shrinking Renown Title so that ongoing play becomes possible, an extension of the dan-advancement law past 11th dan, and a list of limits to release. (

This issue is Issue 9 of the Konsei Reiyotan zn (one-shot) series.
