#When to Use
- Before a session (3 min): Check Affinity for partners scheduled to appear this session.
- During a session (as needed): Record Affinity changes immediately when events occur. Check jealousy triggers.
- After a session (3 min): Organize this week's change history. Confirm stage-unlock events.
#How to Use
- Mark the current position on the 9-partner column × Affinity 0-10 row grid.
- Record completed stage-by-stage major events in the event checkboxes.
- Record Affinity 5+ states with two or more partners in the simultaneous-pursuit log.
- Record whether jealousy events triggered in the jealousy alerts.
- Confirm ending entry conditions in the ending flag tracker.
#Who Uses It
- Primary user: GM. Each player may reveal only their own character's Affinity.
- Other players' Affinity is kept private (for jealousy and rivalry scenes).

1. Check the list of partners scheduled to appear this session
2. Check each PC's Affinity toward those partners
3. Predict events that could change Affinity
4. Check relationships approaching a stage unlock
- If Affinity 2→3 or 4→5 is imminent, prepare a special event
5. Check jealousy event triggers
- Is any PC pursuing 2 or more partners at Affinity 5+?

#§ Strategic Tips
#Tip 1 — Affinity Change Pace
Recommended pace (20-week campaign):
Sessions 1-3 (weeks 1-3): Affinity 1-2 (Recognition / Affinity)
Sessions 4-7 (weeks 4-7): Affinity 3-4 (Intimacy)
Sessions 8-12 (weeks 8-12): Affinity 5-6 (Affection / Lover)
Sessions 13-17 (weeks 13-17): Affinity 7-8 (Lover deepened)
Sessions 18-20 (weeks 18-20): Affinity 9-10 (Engagement / Union)
Too fast:
Affinity 5+ before Session 3 = insufficient emotional depth, blurry ending
Too slow:
Affinity 3 or below through Session 15 = cannot enter an ending
#Tip 2 — Handling Simultaneous Pursuit
Recommendation:
Simultaneous pursuit itself is permitted (player's choice)
However, if Affinity 5+ with 2 or more partners, make 1 jealousy check per week
Jealousy check:
d100 ≤ (total Affinity × 5) → event triggers
Example: Partner A (7) + Partner B (6) = 13 × 5 = 65 → triggers on d100 ≤ 65 (65% chance)
GM choices on trigger:
- "Partner A witnesses your conversation with Partner B"
- "Partner B finds a gift from Partner A"
- "A 3rd party (domain resident) spreads rumors of your double relationship"
#Tip 3 — Designing Stage-Unlock Events
Stage 3→4 (Intimacy → Affection):
Deliberately prepare a "crisis rescue" event
Example: partner is wounded during expedition → PC chooses (protect or complete mission)
Stage 4→5 (Affection → Lover):
Provide a "confession opportunity"
Example: festival night, scene where the two are left alone → PC chooses (confess or stay silent)
Stage 5→6 (Lover → Engagement):
Transition event to "open relationship"
Example: public declaration before the lord, family approval, social decision
Stage 6→7 (Engagement → Union):
Prepare the "ending branch"
Wedding / Transformation ceremony / parting scene
#Tip 4 — Special Handling of Yoma Partners
4 yoma partners (Kagura / Ryukage / Namibe / Homura):
Basic rules identical to human partners
Additional considerations:
- Appearance frequency: lower than humans (frequently encountered only during Spirit Realm expeditions)
- Transformation Ending: at stage 7, PC may choose to become yoma
- Domain resident reaction: if yoma romance is discovered, Fear +2, Morale -1
- Three Ways and Six Hearts link is strong: mismatched Heart makes Affinity gain difficult
Special conditions per yoma (see supplement 24-03 for details):
Kagura: respecting memory repetition grants Affinity +1
Ryukage: honest scholarly conversation grants Affinity +1
Namibe: helping with old songs or net repair grants Affinity +1
Homura: helping restrain flame or recover a name grants Affinity +1

#Tone Guide
- Emotion is not a number, yet without numbers the memory cannot grow. The difference between Affinity 5 and 6 is mechanical, but at the actual table it is a single line of memory: "we confessed last week."
- Jealousy is a seasoning, not the main ingredient. A jealousy event every session breeds fatigue. 1-2 per campaign is enough.
- Do not forget the ending. Affinity exists for the ending. 10 or more sessions of tracking Affinity alone, with no ending, leads to emptiness.
