#4 Chinese Yokai Conversions
Reformat: follows the core 08-02 yoma bestiary template stat-block format + applies this expansion's 00-05 §1–§15 settled rules.
Resolving collisions with same-name core yoma (2 cases):
- Nine-Tailed Fox (九尾狐) — integrated into the core 08-02 Lord-grade Nine-Tailed Fox (Tamamo-no-Mae). This conversion is removed.
- Nue (鵺) — integrated into the core 08-02 Elite-grade nue. This conversion is removed (the Chinese variant is reinterpreted by the GM from the core nue template).

#55-08-01. Yaksha King (夜叉王) — Elite-grade
Scent: a Chinese/Japanese variant of the Indian yaksha (Yaksha). A giant night yokai. A giant that swallows travelers in night forests and graveyards.

Scent: the various fictional animals recorded in the Shanhaijing (beast-folk, land-dwelling parasitic birds, undying beasts, etc.). The GM picks to fit the campaign · as 1 creature or a squad formation.

Scent: the Chinese hopping corpse. If you hold your breath, it cannot perceive you. Stick a talisman on its head and it stops.
