#Legendary Godframes — The World's Divine Artifacts as Hearts
Contents
This document belongs to front. The operation engine (Ponderous · Cooling Sequence · Energy · Firepower · Overload · Colossal Form) is defined in
02; the canonical heart (Artifact / Self-Heart drive) and grade-conversion table live in04; and the body of the Finisher · Innate Art system is in05. This document merely lays the unified stat cards and named-Finisher data of four named Legendary Godframes on top of that.
[Variant · opt-in] · Legendary Godframes are for the campaign climax — recommend one per battlefield.
#Data — §0. What Is a Legendary Godframe: Definition and Gate
There exists a frame that is neither a build assembled from parts (zn13-03) nor a service model mass-produced by a faction (zn13-06 · zn13-07), but a single, one-of-a-kind named machine. It is a campaign-defining definition-class (定義級) Godframe, descended with one of the world's legendary Divine Artifacts or relics enshrined as its heart (Core). Beyond Japan's technical schools and Artifact tiers, it enshrines in the giant's breast even the myths of King Arthur, Christendom, the Norse, Buddhism, China, and India. A Legendary Godframe is not made stronger by stacking on more parts; it is the act of descending a single already-legendary heart at vast scale.
This is why not just anyone can choose one. Rather than ordinary mounting, it demands a specific rider who satisfies the devotion and qualification conditions that that heart Artifact requires — kingship, bloodline, faith, multiple bearers. Just as taking up a sword does not make one the sword's master, a Legendary Godframe's ignition is qualification first, output second. This is what makes the Legendary Godframe a campaign-tier gate. One per battlefield, one or two per campaign, is enough.
The Legendary Godframe is strong. But that strength invents nothing new whatsoever. The sword's cutting power belongs to the sword, the Grail's restoration belongs to the Grail, and the sealing light belongs to the vajra. The Godframe merely stages that power with a giant body — it does not inflate the numbers. The limits below are the single charter binding every Legendary Godframe.
★Limits — linkage only, no amplification.
A Legendary Godframe's output comes directly from that heart Divine Artifact's existing canon data (blessing · curse · [masterwork] · [devotion] Arts). The Godframe merely stages this at vast scale and does not inflate the numbers.
- A weapon's own roll bonus = a common +3 cap shared by masterwork and Divine Artifact (
ex2-00-05 §10). Tiered bonuses like "masterwork +2 / Divine Artifact +3" are not used — it is a common +3 cap. A single blow that breaks the ceiling is opened only through the separate overcharge of Firepower overcharge (02§5). Effects of +5 or more must always come bundled with two or more limiting conditions (Critical Hit · designated target · instant-death roll · Energy −N · environment, etc.). Only Defense is tiered by grade (masterwork armor +1 / large foreign breastplate +3 [with movement · stealth penalty] / Divine Artifact armor specified individually).- The once-per-session · once-per-combat limit on Finishers · [devotion] Arts applies to the frame just the same. Enlargement does not disguise itself as a constant (
05§4 Finisher system).- The Ponderous · Cooling Sequence · half-Pierce and other penalties · traits from
zn13-02apply to Legendary Godframes without exception. No penalty is waived just because it is a Legendary Godframe.- No simultaneous enlargement of restoration + extra action. No single heart Art and no single Finisher grants both "large-scale restoration" and "extra action" together (the Grail case).
#Canon ↔ New Label Convention
Every card and description in this document must distinguish two kinds of names.
- Real canon (uses original names). The Three Sacred Treasures' sword and jewel, the Grail · Holy Cross · rosary, Excalibur, Kūkai-no-Kongōsho · Bishamon-no-Yoroi, and so on, exist in the canon catalog (
co-07-03·co-07-04·ex2-45). Use the original name as-is and cite it via inline path. - New expansion (not in the catalog · newly named in the main text). Amaterasu-no-Kaishin · The Trinity · Avalon Knight · Taizan Nyorai · Buddha Relic (舎利), the four named Finishers, and the Godframe archetype itself, are new namings not in the catalog. These are stated as "a coupling newly layered atop the canon Artifact tier." The part (heart) is canon; the giant's name and the Finisher's name are new.
- Media-origin names only via altered names. Public-domain legends (Excalibur · the Grail · Gungnir · the Three Sacred Treasures · Ragnarök) use original names, but names derived from a specific medium are never named directly — use an altered name (
ex2-45 §99-07 IP Guide).
#How to Read the Cards
Each of the four Legendary Godframes below is organized into one unified stat card (02 §8 format). Numbers go in the table (Wounds · Defense · Energy · Firepower · Domination · Pierce), while the Innate Art (constant) · Finisher (named · large Firepower) · penalty · source sit in separate bullets. Because a Legendary Godframe is a campaign apex, it takes the standard full build (high grade, 02 §8.2) as its base — Wounds 10~11 · Defense 18 · Domination +7~+8 · a Divine-Artifact-grade heart (Firepower 6) are the default assumptions, while hearts of a different grade such as the mirror and the Grail are specified individually in each card's table.
#Data · Table — §1. The Four Legendary Godframes: Independent Stat Cards + Named Finishers
The four frames below are new namings (the giant's name), and the heart parts are all real canon. The numbers in the tables link the original data of that heart entry at vast scale, adding not a grain.
#Amaterasu-no-Kaishin (天照之改神) — Legendary Godframe · ★new naming
"To gather three Artifacts into one giant is to wager the nation on a single body."
| Wounds | Defense | Energy | Firepower (max) | Domination | Pierce |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10~11 | 18 | 13 (Core 3) | 6 (Divine-Artifact grade) | +7~+8 | ½ |
- Heart: Sword = Ame-no-Murakumo (
co-07-03 #1, Kusanagi, Divine Artifact) + Jewel = Yasakani-no-Magatama (co-07-03 #2, Divine Artifact) + Mirror = Yata-no-Kagami (co-07-02 §masterwork, "Eight-Span Mirror" replica, masterwork — ★not a Divine Artifact). → An intended asymmetric trinity of 2 Divine Artifacts + 1 masterwork. Firepower is 6 by the Divine-Artifact-grade hearts (sword · jewel), while the mirror syncs on its information · control aptitude. - Drive condition (devotion/qualification): Three bearers of the Three Treasures mount simultaneously. Mirror = Controller (sees through truth), Sword = Pilot (storm · Orochi-cleaving), Jewel = Heart Sync (soul light · national soul). Devotion = the 真 or 魔 of the Way of Mystery (玄道) (sword · jewel). The Mirror syncs fully on its faith-independent truth aptitude alone.
- Giant: mob · grunt Arts · volley fire auto-negated (Ren+ · sniping at the heart takes normal hits,
02§7). - Innate Art (constant) — Mirror of Truth: the mirror [aptitude] auto sees through illusion · disguise (
co-07-02). Additionally the Controller runs the mirror [masterwork] Mirror-Reflection constantly (once per round · the target's true Wounds / Defense / Arts revealed by the GM). - Finisher (Firepower 6 · once per combat · wind-up 1) — "Ametsumusa-no-Sanjin-Kō (天叢三神降)": activates after one round of charging. It descends at vast scale the sword [devotion] Tenyō-Musō (
co-07-03 #1: all enemies on the field 1 Wound + Fear), yet the effect numbers are the canon as-is — a storm crashes down from the sky for 1 Wound + Fear on every enemy across the whole field. If engaged with a many-headed giant yoma, it loads the sword [masterwork] Orochi-cleave's simultaneous multi-head roll into this single blow to strike multiple cores at once (multi-targeting, not damage stacking). The once-per-session limit is unchanged (Tenyō-Musō · National Soul are once per session by origin) — being made a Finisher does not upgrade them. - Penalty: Ponderous · Cooling Sequence (round's end) · half Pierce common + all three same-order-last (all three Ponderous) + extreme fragility of three-person coordination (one crewmate incapacitated = immediate halt) + sword curse Dragon's Thirst (−1 Wound at the end of each combat) + the political burden of imperial legitimacy + the three devotion Arts (Tenyō-Musō · National Soul · Orochi-cleave) are all once per session · per combat.
- Source: sword
co-07-03 #1· jewelco-07-03 #2· mirrorco-07-02.
Aside — the mirror is a masterwork (a data fact). Among the Three Sacred Treasures, the genuine mirror (Yata-no-Kagami) is at Ise Grand Shrine, and this data's mirror is its masterwork-replica grade (Yata-no-Kagami,
co-07-02). Therefore this Legendary Godframe's heart is an asymmetric trinity of 2 Divine Artifacts (sword · jewel) + 1 masterwork (mirror). The asymmetry is not a flaw but design — the mirror alone demands no devotion of faith or bloodline, and syncs fully on the information · control aptitude of "reflecting the truth." The Firepower pool (6) is set by the Divine-Artifact-grade hearts.★GM Option — restoring symmetry (new expansion). If the third drive is elevated to a sacred lease of the genuine Yata-no-Kagami (Ise Grand Shrine), the three-Divine-Artifact symmetry can be restored. This must be stated as a new expansion, and the political burden of imperial legitimacy rises a further notch (the sacrilegious weight of dragging the genuine article onto the battlefield). The default recommends keeping the asymmetry.
#The Trinity — Legendary Godframe · ★new naming
"The sin of enshrining Deus in steel on heathen soil — heresy to Hieizan-ren, a miracle to the Kirishitan."
| Wounds | Defense | Energy | Firepower (max) | Domination | Pierce |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10~11 | 18 | 13 (Core 3) | 6 (Divine-Artifact grade) | +7~+8 | ½ |
- Heart: Grail (
ex2-45-05-01= the main-line replacement data forco-07-04 #1 Grail (Cálice), Divine Artifact). Trinity-reinforcing parts = Holy Cross (co-07-04 #2) · rosary (co-07-04 #3) — the three canon Kirishitan Divine Artifacts. - Drive condition (devotion/qualification): Catholic faith devotion (Way of the Heavenly Lord (天主道), 信) + priest Controller (faith-class profession — corresponds to esoteric monk · Pure Land monk; ★not a unit-type, one of the 33 professions
co-04-07). With no faith, restoration is halved (Grail curse). - Giant: mob · grunt Arts · volley fire auto-negated (Ren+ · sniping at the heart takes normal hits).
- Innate Art (constant) — Blessing of the Trinity: the Holy Cross [aptitude] keeps yoma in the same zone at Defense −1 at all times, plus the Controller sustains the rosary [devotion] Secret of the Rosary (5 rounds · +1 Energy each breath). Wherever the light reaches, the yoma are always one layer weaker.
- Finisher (Firepower 4↑ · once per session · wind-up 1) — "Seihai-Kaihō · Sanmi-Kōrin (聖杯解放·三位降臨)": activates after one round of charging. It stages the Grail [upkeep] Miracle of the Grail (
ex2-45-05-01) at vast scale — the holy draught filled in the cup is poured onto one body to restore 4 Wounds + cleanse poison · curse · personal Spiritual Contamination (if incapacitated, recover 1 Wound + 1 use of [Energy support B-2]). The Godframe stages this as a "continuous regeneration of the Wounds pool," but its actual activation goes no further than once per session · restore 4 Wounds. ★Bundling restoration (4 Wounds) and extra action (Energy support B-2) into one effect and enlarging it is prohibited — the two are granted by the same [upkeep], but they do not become constant on the same beat. - Penalty: Ponderous · Cooling Sequence · half Pierce common + trial of faith (a faithless PC has restoration halved · incapacitated-recovery does not trigger) + Hieizan-ren heresy provisions · Kirishitan persecution (
zn08linkage) + the Grail's restoration is once per session, unchanged. - Source: Grail
ex2-45-05-01(co-07-04 #1replacement) · Holy Crossco-07-04 #2· rosaryco-07-04 #3.
Aside — the Grail's restoration is once per session (a data fact). The Miracle of the Grail is mighty. So the Godframe can show it as a "Wounds pool that seems to refill every round," but its actual activation goes no further than once per session · restore 4 Wounds. In particular, bundling restoration (4 Wounds) and extra action (Energy support B-2) into one effect and enlarging it is prohibited — it is bound by the no-simultaneous-enlargement-of-restoration-and-extra-action principle (
05§2 guard). The two are granted by the same [upkeep], but they do not become constant on the same beat.
#Avalon Knight — Legendary Godframe · ★new naming
"The moment one ceases to be king, the giant sleeps too — the sword chooses its master, and losing its master it sheaths itself."
| Wounds | Defense | Energy | Firepower (max) | Domination | Pierce |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10~11 | 18 | 13 (Core 3) | 4 (masterwork grade) | +7~+8 | ½ |
- Heart: Excalibur (
ex2-45-01-01, Western fine blade [masterwork] grade). Because the heart is masterwork-grade, the Firepower pool is 4 (masterwork grade ×2) — the shallowest Firepower of the four, but its single blow lands the heaviest (Excalibur Strike, 6 Wounds). - Drive condition (devotion/qualification): the King's qualification — primary class at 5th dan or higher, or recognized kingship. Only authority-class Pilots ignite it.
- Giant: mob · grunt Arts · volley fire auto-negated (Ren+ · sniping at the heart takes normal hits).
- Innate Art (constant) — the King's Qualification: the Excalibur [aptitude] grants Intimidation +1 · first-round Energy +1 (
ex2-45-01-01base blessing). By merely standing, the giant presses the enemy's cohesion down a notch.
- Finisher (Firepower 4 · once per combat · wind-up 1) — "Seiken Kaihō (聖剣解放), Sacred-Sword Release": activates after one round of charging. It stages the Excalibur Strike [Kata] (
ex2-45-01-01) at vast scale —Courage+Swordsmanship ≥ Defense+3· 6 Wounds · instant-death roll on Critical Hit against yoma. The 6 Wounds is a [Kata] bundling instant-death roll on Critical Hit + Divine-Artifact grade + once per combat = three limiting conditions (ex2-00-05 §10), and the once-per-session · once-per-combat limit is unchanged. It accumulates Firepower 4 by wind-up and ignites, but merely swings at vast scale — it does not make the 6-Wounds strike constant or amplify it. This frame's strength is the catharsis of a single blow, not constant firepower. - Penalty: Ponderous · Cooling Sequence · half Pierce common + on loss of qualification (dishonor · treason) the sword is nullified → immediate sealing (halt risk) + the Firepower pool is shallow at 4, leaving little overcharge headroom.
- Source:
ex2-45-01-01· variant optionex2-45-10-01.
Aside — Intimidation +1 is the base, Authority +2 is variant-only (a data fact). Excalibur's base blessing is only Intimidation +1 · first-round Energy +1 (
ex2-45-01-01). "Authority +2" is a limited option of theSword-in-the-Stone variant (45-10-01)(double-emphasizing the King's qualification) — the base card carries only Intimidation +1.★Lake + Stone fusion variant (GM option). If you use the variant fusing the Sword of the Lake and the Sword of the Stone, the curse Caprice of the Lake follows: once per session a
2d10opposed roll (caster's Wisdom vs Excalibur's sanctity target 13,co-03-01 2d10 system). On failure the sword is sealed for one session → during which the frame bears a risk close to disarmed shutdown.
#Taizan Nyorai (泰山如来) — Legendary Godframe · ★new naming · new Buddha Relic
"A contradiction-Buddha that kills at the greatest scale while forbidding killing — with every step it breaks a precept, and by that breaking it prevents a greater slaughter."
| Wounds | Defense | Energy | Firepower (max) | Domination | Pierce |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10~11 | 18+ (adamantine heavy armor) | 11 (Weight of Austerity −2 always) | 6 (Divine-Artifact grade) | +7~+8 | ½ |
- Heart: Buddha Relic (舎利) — a new expansion of the Buddhist Divine Artifact tier (★canon ↔ new). Data anchor =
co-07-03 #11 Kūkai-no-Kongōsho(light of Dainichi · mantra grand-sealing · mandala deployment) +co-07-03 #16 Bishamon-no-Yoroi(adamantine heavy armor). Bishamon-no-Yoroi adds Divine Artifact armor (adamantine Defense), raising Defense above the full-build 18 (specified individually). - Drive condition (devotion/qualification): esoteric monk · ascetic Controller + Buddhist devotion (the 慈 of the Way of Emptiness (空道)).
- Giant: mob · grunt Arts · volley fire auto-negated (Ren+ · sniping at the heart takes normal hits).
- Innate Art (constant) — Light of Dainichi: by the Kūkai-no-Kongōsho blessing (
co-07-03 #11), exorcism roll +3 · barrier strength doubled. Additionally the Controller runs [masterwork] Mantra Grand-Sealing (5 Energy ·2d10+Wisdom+Exorcism+5 ≥ Defense· seal [incorporeal] yoma; instant for Ren-grade or below · 3 rounds for Elite-grade+ · once per combat).
- Finisher (Firepower 6 · once per session · wind-up 1) — "Taizan-Mandara-Hō (泰山曼陀羅崩), the Taizan Mandala Collapse": activates after one round of charging. It stages the Kūkai-no-Kongōsho [devotion] Mandala Deployment (
co-07-03 #11) at vast scale — a mandala barrier collapses over the whole field for all yoma Defense −4, 2 Wounds to enter, lasting 3 rounds. The Pilot tramples · strikes the exposed true body of the weakened giant yoma with its armament. The once-per-session limit is unchanged — once lifted it cannot be unfurled again until the next session, so time it to the moment the giant yoma's true body is exposed. - Penalty: Ponderous · Cooling Sequence · half Pierce common + prohibition on killing (the precepts) + the Kūkai curse Weight of Austerity (Energy −2 always) is a constant burden on the Energy pool (even with Core 3, 13 − 2 = effective 11) + the Bishamon curse Endless War (if the scenario is resolved without combat, Renown −2) + Relic sanctity depletion.
- Source:
co-07-03 #11Kūkai-no-Kongōsho ·co-07-03 #16Bishamon-no-Yoroi.
Aside — the Buddha Relic is new, the anchor is canon (a data fact). Buddhist Artifacts are already recorded in Part 2 of
co-07-03. The names "Buddha Relic (舎利)" and "Taizan Nyorai" are a new naming freshly shaped by the Buddhist order, but their data adds not a grain beyond the vast-scale linkage of the two canon Divine Artifacts #11 Kūkai-no-Kongōsho · #16 Bishamon-no-Yoroi.★Initiative-bonus conflict reconciliation. Bishamon-no-Yoroi [aptitude] War God's Protection grants "allied initiative +2 at the start of combat" (
co-07-03 #16). But the Godframe's Ponderous is immunity to initiative bonuses (same-order-last,02§2). Therefore the War God's Protection applies to the rider · allies but is void on the frame itself (Ponderous maintained). The Buddha moves the host beside him first, yet itself moves last to the very end.
#Table — §2. The Four Legendary Godframes at a Glance
| Legendary Godframe | Heart (Grade) | Firepower | Innate Art (constant) | Finisher (named · Firepower · limit) | Unique penalty |

How to read. All four frames share the full-build base (Wounds 10~11 · Defense 18 · Domination +7~+8 · Core 3), and the difference arises only in heart grade (Firepower pool) · Innate Art · Finisher · unique penalty. Only Avalon Knight has a masterwork-grade heart, so its Firepower is 4 (the rest, Divine-Artifact-grade, 6). Ponderous · Cooling Sequence · half Pierce · the giant tag are common to
02, and this table only lays the Legendary-Godframe-specific portion on top. The body of the Finisher system (1-round wind-up · once per combat/session) is in05§4.

#Example — §4. Three Scenes of Legendary Godframe Descent
Operational examples including rule citations. In every scene, confirm that the once-per-session/combat limit · Ponderous · Cooling Sequence · Firepower recovery gate stay alive.
Example 1 — Amaterasu-no-Kaishin, Ametsumusa-no-Sanjin-Kō. Three PCs mount at once: sword = Pilot samurai, jewel = Heart Sync Pure Land monk, mirror = Controller onmyōji. The enemy is a many-headed giant yoma. Round 1, the mirror Controller uses Mirror-Reflection (Innate Art) to have the enemy's true Wounds · Defense · weakness revealed, aiding to-hit, and the Controller declares "Finisher charge" to accumulate Firepower 6 (wind-up · the Cooling Sequence 1 at the round's end is deducted normally). By Ponderous all three act same-order-last — seeing the enemy move first, they take their stance a beat late. Next round, the sword Pilot calls "Ametsumusa-no-Sanjin-Kō" as the main action, descending Tenyō-Musō at vast scale — 1 Wound + Fear on every enemy on the field (once per session). Crisis: if one of the jewel PCs falls (is incapacitated), it halts that instant — the price of strength is itself fragility.
Example 2 — Avalon Knight, Sacred-Sword Release. A Pilot with the King's qualification (primary class at 5th dan). One round before the decisive moment, the Controller accumulates Firepower 4 by wind-up (this frame's Firepower pool is only 4, so it empties in one go). Next round, the Pilot activates "Sacred-Sword Release" as the main action — Courage+Swordsmanship ≥ Defense+3, 6 Wounds, instant-death roll on Critical Hit against yoma. Once per combat. After activation Firepower is near 0, and only by running the full Cooling Sequence at that round's end does it slowly recharge from the next round on. The true nature of this frame's strength is the catharsis of a single blow, not constant firepower. If this Pilot falls into dishonor (treason · oath-breaking) mid-combat, the sword is sealed at once and the giant halts where it stands.
Example 3 — Taizan Nyorai, Taizan-Mandara-Hō vs a giant yoma. The Controller esoteric monk accumulates (charges) Firepower 6 over one round. Next round, activating "Taizan-Mandara-Hō" — all yoma on the field Defense −4 (once per session). The Pilot strikes the weakened giant yoma by trampling · armament. However, the Weight of Austerity (Energy −2 always) carves the Energy pool from 13 to an effective 11, running the pool tight, and on top the per-round Cooling Sequence of 1 compounds the pressure. "Kill at the greatest scale, yet carve yourself with every breath." Once the mandala lifts it cannot be unfurled again until the next session, so time that single use to the moment the giant yoma's true body is exposed.
#Scent — Mythic Weight
When the world has reached some extreme (極), the Legendary Godframe is the apex of possibility that quietly appears — the summit of the sin of caging myth in steel. Neither a husk assembled from parts nor a service model mass-produced by a faction, but a single body that enshrines the world's god in a giant's breast. Before it is power, it is weight.
To enshrine in a giant even foreign gods, beyond Japan's Artifacts, is the act of wagering the world itself on one body. Enshrine a sword and the sword's thirst follows; enshrine the Grail and the trial of faith follows; enshrine a Relic and the contradiction of the precepts follows. It is not only light that is borrowed — one shoulders the borrowed god's will as well. So when a giant calls a name but once, that name is the god's power, not the giant's invention.
Amaterasu-no-Kaishin (national-body grade) — to gather three Artifacts into one giant is to wager the nation on a single body. If one person lets go, the nation halts.
The Trinity (the miracle of heresy) — the sin of enshrining Deus in steel on heathen soil. To Hieizan-ren it is heresy; to the Kirishitan it is a miracle (
zn08linkage).
Avalon Knight (the King's qualification) — the moment one ceases to be king, the giant sleeps too. The sword chooses its master, and once it loses that master it sheaths itself.
Taizan Nyorai (★the new Buddha) — this is a giant the old myths never had. A contradiction-Buddha freshly shaped by the Buddhist order, killing at the greatest scale while forbidding killing. With every step it breaks a precept, and by that breaking it prevents a greater slaughter.
The canon Divine Artifacts warn thus — the maxim at the close of co-07-03, "One who takes up a Divine Artifact borrows a god's power. But a god's power always brings — a god's will with it." The Legendary Godframe is a vast variation on that maxim.
"One who borrows the world's god shoulders the world's will — heavy, slow, and unable to stop."
Borrowed power must be repaid (fc01-04). The Legendary Godframe is the tale of one who bears that debt at the size of a giant. And at the beat when that debt grows heaviest — the single blow that accumulates a whole round to call a name but once — lies the apex of the sacrifice the Legendary Godframe pays (99 Tenpō-Tekken).
