#fc Supplement Volume Registry

Contents

Nature of this document: This registry connects the currently published fc supplement volumes at a glance. For each volume's detailed rules and authority, the volume index and body text take priority.

#1. Common Principles

  • co is the baseline for core rules and setting.
  • fc is a supplement volume that treats one subject in depth.
  • Even when an fc provides new data, basic checks, Energy, Wounds, zones, squads, and equipment templates follow co.
  • A volume may mix Canon, Variant, Fiction-Only, and RP Guide. The scope of application follows the authority label in that volume's index.
  • Historical background, ghost stories, and ideological commentary are not rules text. To use them as numbers in a session, check that volume's Law or data section.

#5. Cross-Connection Principles

  • fc06 and fc07 are a pair. fc06 handles the language of the heart; fc07 handles how that language breaks down.
  • fc02 and fc08 are read together when preparing yoma incidents. fc02 handles the air of the Sengoku era, while fc08 handles yoma desires and variants.
  • fc03 and fc05 are a pair of people and weapons. When you establish a swordmaster, their school and arms create the scene together.
  • fc04, ex3, and fc08 are the three axes of era-based yoma variants. Distinguish Heian archetypes, Edo ghost-story forms, Sengoku base forms, and modern variants.
  • fc01 is the volume about gods, and fc08 is the volume about yoma. When handling a deified yoma or a god turned into a tatari, first check the boundary between the two volumes.
  • fc02 and fc09 are a pair of time and space. fc02 handles the air of an era, while fc09 handles the face of the land. Read them together when settling on a campaign stage.
  • fc10 connects to the Spirit Realm Wandering Treasures of the canon timeline and to the door theory of fc08. When handling modern subjects, read fc08 (modern yoma — the door that goes to that era) and fc10 (Kamikakushi — the door that comes to this era) together.
  • fc11 and fc12 are practical tools for a Sengoku campaign. fc11 lets you pull out the cast right away, while fc12 lets you pull out the stage (castles and siege warfare).

#Scent — One Sentence

"A supplement volume does not cover the core book. It is a lamp that lets one scene of the core book be seen more deeply."
