If you've run one session — now it's the real game. With "The Convict's Bond" you've learned checks, combat, and squad battle, so it's time to move on to the formal adventures of the core rules co and deeper material.
⚠ Whatever you read, first open the co core rules. co is the foundation of all rules, world, and data, and fc (companion booklets) and zn (one-shots) are opt-in reinforcement laid on top — their new rules are valid only when the table adopts them.

Right next (1st dan) — co-09-01 First Blood. The core book's own Novice adventure. On a Kagura Domain mountain road, through lesser yoma → oni → yoko, run Blockade, squads, and the Three Ways and Six Hearts once more as an act-by-act runbook, on a more refined stage. (Graduate from the quickstart to the core book's formal first adventure.)
If you liked squad battle — co-09-03 Borderkeep. A defensive battle to stop a crack in the Spirit Realm gate on the Sekimori border. The squads, sealing, and Spirit Realm you got a taste of in "The Convict's Bond" come into full play.
